QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Is this fixture rated for exterior use?

Hi, sorry this is not rated for any wet locations .

  • I love your fixtures! Regarding the industrial bare bulb caged light, can the cage finish be matched with canopy finish, a polished nickel cage with polished nickel canopy? If not what color is the cage,, raw steel? Or what color would match closest to the cage color? Can these fixtures be mounted directly on dry wall with 4ā€ standard blue plastic electrical box? I need 4 fixtures, ideally Iā€™d like the metal to match. Thank you. I love your fixtures!!

Hi, yes they are made to be hardwired to a standard light box. The finish of the cage does not change only the finish of the plate.
the cage is a galvanized steel. It matches best with the raw steel or the brushed steel plate. Can you email me your email address and I'll send you close up pics of the finishes next to the cage. You can email me at junkyardlighting@gmail.com.
I do have different style cages too in other finishes but wasn't sure if you liked this style only. I can send you pics of the other cages I have too.

  • What watt bulb would I use?

I recommend 75 watt max but this fixture uses a high heat porcelain socket so rated for higher . You can use any kind of bulb ( incandescent, cfl, led, Edison )
